New Invite Designs

I decided to create the invitation for my Mini's rockstar birhtday party and in the process started cre8ting a few other samples...tell me what you think.  I really need a good online printing company that I can have these printed, anyone have any suggestions for printing companies.  All of my designs are made in Adobe Illustrator.  Let me know!



Move'n on up!

I'm making that move in just a few weeks..My brand new website will be up and running shortly!  The Cre8tive Mocha Design Studio!  I am SUPER excited!  These next few weeks will be filled with cre8ting, picture taking, adding, deleting....but it will all be worth it!  I promise I haven't forgotten about my bloggy friends but now I will be able to incorporate all of my projects into one super, duper space!  So Stay tuned,and stay with me, it's gonna be GRAND!  Remember...Cre8tivity Rocks!!!

Another Snow Day...

One more snow day here in Texas so I plan to try and be productive and get some of these projects done.  I am also going to start back on my Wordpress tutorial! If you hadn't noticed I took down my old website and am in the process of redoing it in Wordpress!  Well first I have to learn Wordpress which is what I am doing now.  I have several friends who are AWESOME at it so I will pick their brains when I am stuck!  If anyone else has any Worpress advice....SHARE!

How I spent snow day # 2

Well I had two snow days this week....the first was spent doing absolutely NOTHING!  woo hoo!  Today I decided to put together some sample favor boxes.  This one of course was made with the ribbon I am using for Mini Me's birthday party...Rock Star Diva!  She was all over it today telling me she was going to rock out at her birthday (she's 3) So it's absolutely hilarious to hear her say this.  But she is dead serious! LOL  I will post more things as I get them made.  I ran into a snag making the lollipop display, but I should be back on track with that next week. Stay tuned!



The Mini's Party... OMG!!

So every year after my own birthday I start planning the Mini Me's birthday party. So it's that time again! Year 1 the theme was Pink Poodles in Paris, Year 2 I was. WAY too tired to decorate anything so I braved it and had the party at Chuck-e -Cheese, Year 3 was Tinkerbell...so this is Year 4... I asked the Mini what type of party she wanted and wouldn't you know she says sleepover! NOOOOOOO! I acted like I didn't hear that and asked her again a few days later, this time she says she wants a Rock Star Birthday, and so it goes that I am now planning the best Diva Rock Star birthday party EVER!  Of course I can always use some ideas, so if anyone has done one and wants to share, PLEASE DO! I'll be posting my updates as I get things gathered for the 4th Extravaganza!



Need a recipe...

I have mustered up the courage to FINALLY try to make marshmallows!  Problems is I have found 5 million different recipes and cant figure out which one to use.  I have noticed that the main difference in many of the recipes in eggs....Not sure if I want to use eggs but I may try both ways just to see which one I like best.  So back to my real dilemma...does anyone out there in bloggy land have a tried and true recipe I can try?  If so, let me know and I will certainly try it and post the results here.



Happy New Year!

I am SO pumped for 2011!  I have so many plans, events, projects, classes that are going to take place this year, that I can hardly contain myself.  I'll be starting out with a new blog look in a few weeks.  My first craft class will be in March and my gourmet sweets business will be up and running by the summer!  I'll be looking for quite a few more projects and crafts to feature here in 2011 so if you have any you'd like to submit, send them on over!  I pray that you all have a blessed and prosperous new year!
